stat - display file or file system status

SYNOPSIS

   stat [OPTION]... FILE...

DESCRIPTION

Display file or file system status.

   too.

   -L, --dereference
          follow links

   -f, --file-system
display file system status instead of file status

   -c --format=FORMAT
